Torleif Bramryd, Head of Environmental Strategy Department
Torleif Bramryd is the head of Department of Environmental Strategy at the Lund University Campus in Helsingborg. His PhD is in Ecology with special focus on environmental and forest ecology. His research work is focused on Urban Ecology, mainly linked to the establishment of a sustainable society.

He has had a number of international commitments. Since 1994 he is a member of the ISWA group (Int. Solid Waste Association) on Biological Waste treatment, and was coordinator of the sub-group on ”Assessment of process performances” during1997-1999. He has also been a Swedish delegate for the international IEA (International Energy Association) cooperation on "downstream" effects from solid waste treatment facilities.
 
Christian Henriksson, Project Assistant
Christian Henriksson has pursued studies in subject areas such as geography, urban planning and design as well as in environmental strategy at Lund University, Sweden. Recent work has been on greening the city; how we can get the urban landscape to be more sustainable by using nature as a model? Are there new ways to use ecologically sustainable tools and solutions in the urban planning process as well as in practice? Currently, he works as a project assistant at Lund University and is undertaking research as part of the EcoDesign joint project between ICIS and the University of Lund.
 
Michael Johansson, Project Assistant
Michael Johansson, MSc, has a masters degree in Environmental Strategy from University of Lund. He is currently employed at the Department of Environmental Strategy, Lund University, and his scientific work is focussed on sustainable urban development, including environmentally based transportation, renewable motor fuels (especially biogas), coordination of sustainable city transportation, investigations on odour problems related to biological waste treatment.

Beside his scientific work he is supervising students in urban planning and sustainable transportation. He has organized seminars and an exhibition in connection to the European Mobility Week concerning environmental transportation and commuting.
