Phase 3

The final phase is to be completed on April 2007 and it is focused on the dissemination of the educational programme and consists of the following elements:

- Dissemination
It is necessary to develop a dissemination and marketing strategy in order to promote the programme to the target group of potential students. Furthermore, a strategy also needs to be developed to visually profile the programme e.g. in respect to other educational institutions, municipalities, regions, governments, and the design trade nationally and internationally. It is also the intention to place the programme on a par with international MA programmes and for it to play an active role in academic networks and research circles, etc.

- Seminar/conference
Part of the marketing strategy is to launch the programme at a conference held by the two partners, with contributors who have participated in symposiums 1 and 2 and who have followed the progress of the project. Relevant current and future partners from the Øresund region and the international design industry will be invited to this conference. Subjects at the conference will concern sustainable design and related sectors, such as IT, the business sector, etc.

- Pilot project
The MA in Sustainable design was succesfully tested in practice by a pilot programme developed by the main partners. The pilot involved relevant academic content obtained through the development of Phase 1 and 2. The pilot was held at Helsingborg, Sweden with a total of 18 students from Sweden, Denmark, Germany, England, North and Central America and Japan.

A complete report of the pilot project can be obtained at Members Zone.
